Job Description

Role Overview: As the Sales & Brand Strategy Lead at Nolwa Studio, you will play a crucial role in expanding the presence of the company nationally and internationally. Your main responsibilities will include representing Nolwa Studio alongside the founder, growing the reach of the brand, building intentional relationships, and ensuring that the brand is portrayed consistently and cohesively across various touchpoints. This is a hybrid role that combines sales leadership (70% focus) with brand custodianship (30% focus), requiring strategic thinking and hands-on implementation in collaboration with the founder. Key Responsibilities: - Sales & Partnerships - Develop Outbound Sales & Business Development Strategy by engaging potential clients, institutions, and buyers through personalized outreach. - Engage with Architects & Interior Designers by curating a list of industry professionals, leading conversations, and designing immersive experiences for engagement. - Identify and research Gallery Placements aligned with the brand ethos, and lead outreach and placement efforts. - Research Museum Acquisitions opportunities and initiate conversations with relevant departments and curators. - Explore Distribution Platforms, curated sales platforms, online marketplaces, and luxury retail partnerships. - Handle Collaborations requests, assess alignment, manage negotiations, contracts, and communications. - Manage Inbound Sales inquiries, nurturing relationships with potential clients, collectors, curators, and collaborators. - Represent Nolwa Studio across online and offline platforms, including exhibitions, talks, and design gatherings. - Brand Strategy & Custodianship - Act as the Brand Custodian and ensure the brand strategy is consistent across all touchpoints. - Collaborate on Visibility Strategy with the founder and creative team for fairs, awards, and exhibitions. - Develop Luxury Marketing strategies to position Nolwa in prestigious contexts. - Collaborate on Social Media & Storytelling with the visual designer and content team. - Ensure PR & Communications Alignment for messaging consistency and presence in the design and art worlds. Qualifications Required: - 5-7 years of experience in sales, partnerships, business development, or brand strategy, preferably in design, art, fashion, or luxury. - Background in Design/Art Gallery is an added advantage. - Appreciation for collectible design, craftsmanship, and the intersection of culture and commerce. - Global awareness of galleries, fairs, and institutions; existing networks in the design/art world are beneficial. - Ability to build and nurture relationships with high-value clients, collaborators, and stakeholders. - Creative thinker with strong storytelling skills, strategic mindset, and attention to detail. - Confident communicator and brand representative, both online and in person. - Independent, proactive, and eager to grow within a small, passionate team.,
