Job Description

We are seeking a driven, well-groomed, and customer-focused Sales Associate & Design Consultant with strong experience in the furniture, interiors, or custom-made design industry.

This role is based in our South Mumbai showroom and involves guiding clients through customised furniture solutions, managing showroom interactions, responding to online enquiries, and developing new business through professional client visits.

Role & responsibilities

Showroom Sales & Client Consultation

  • Welcome clients warmly and understand their functional and aesthetic requirements.
  • Present showroom samples, finishes, fabrics, and customisation options to help clients make informed decisions.
  • Create and follow up on quotations, ensuring timely order closure.
  • Maintain a well-organised, visually appealing showroom environment.

Design Advisory

  • Provide product recommendations based on design principles, lifestyle needs, and client preferences.
  • Coordinate with internal design and production teams to ensure accurate customisation details for orders.

Corporate & Institutional Outreach

  • Conduct scheduled visits to corporate offices, consulates, architects, designers, and institutional clients.
  • Present product offerings, share catalogues, and develop strong professional relationships.
  • Identify new sales opportunities and represent the brand with confidence and professionalism.
  • Ensure all visits follow company protocols, business-hour scheduling, and safety guidelines.

Online Engagement & Lead Management

  • Respond promptly and professionally to enquiries via website, social media, WhatsApp, and email.
  • Assist in strengthening the companys digital presence by sharing content ideas, promotions, and customer engagement strategies.

Business Development

  • Actively explore new avenues to promote the company at events, exhibitions, collaborations, and networking opportunities.
  • Build long-term relationships that encourage referrals and repeat business.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Prior experience in

    furniture retail, interior design sales, or custom furniture consulting

    is essential.
  • Excellent communication and strong English proficiency (spoken and written).
  • Well-groomed, confident, and skilled in customer presentation.
  • Comfortable conducting professional client visits for business development.
  • Tech-savvy, proactive, and responsive in handling online leads.
  • Highly motivated, hardworking, and eager to explore all avenues for growing the brand.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a design-driven environment.
