Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Plastic Moulded Furniture

Location: Coimbatore , Salem , Madurai , Chennai

Reports to: Sales Manager / Regional Sales Director

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Sales Associate to join our dynamic team at Deccan Plast Industries , a leading manufacturer of high-quality plastic moulded furniture. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for driving sales, establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships, and promoting our innovative furniture solutions to both new and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Generation: Actively seek out and generate new sales opportunities through various channels (in-person, phone, email, and social media).
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our range of plastic moulded furniture products to effectively present and sell them to customers.
  • Client Consultation: Provide expert advice to clients on selecting the best furniture solutions for their needs, whether for residential, commercial, or outdoor use.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Order Management: Process orders and ensure timely delivery of products to customers. Follow up on orders and resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market insights in CRM systems.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and production teams to ensure products meet customer expectations and align with market demands.
  • Product Demonstrations: Organize and conduct product demonstrations, either in-store or at trade shows, to showcase the benefits and features of the furniture line.
  • Target Achievement: Meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to the overall sales goals of the company.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in sales or retail, preferably in the furniture or home goods industry. Experience in selling plastic moulded furniture is a plus.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers.
  • Customer-Centric: A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Product Knowledge: Ability to quickly learn and demonstrate product features, benefits, and advantages of plastic moulded furniture.
  • Sales Skills: Strong negotiation and closing skills. Ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM systems and sales tools, as well as MS Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate with team members, while also being able to work independently.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and occasional extended hours when needed.
