Sales and Service Engineer

Role Overview: As a Sales and Service Engineer for laboratory scientific instruments in the Vapi/Surat/Ahmedabad area, your primary responsibility will be to promote, sell, install, maintain, and service advanced lab equipment. Your role involves supporting existing clients, troubleshooting technical issues, and expanding the customer base by showcasing the value and functionality of the instruments. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and approach potential customers in academic, research, pharmaceutical, environmental, and industrial labs. - Promote and sell laboratory instruments customized for pharma R&D, QA/QC, formulation, and production labs. - Conduct product presentations and demonstrations. - Offer technical support throughout the sales process. - Prepare quotations and follow up on sales leads. - Establish and nurture relationships with lab managers, QC/QA heads, and procurement teams. - Install and calibrate laboratory instruments at client sites. - Perform regular maintenance and performance checks. - Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues. - Provide end-user training on instrument operation and maintenance. - Troubleshoot mechanical/electronic/software problems and conduct preventive/corrective maintenance. - Respond promptly to customer inquiries and service requests. Qualifications Required: - Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related field. - Experience in laboratory equipment sales or servicing (minimum of 3 years preferred). - Proficiency in Microsoft Office. - Possession of a valid driver's license (required for site visits). - Must have own vehicle for travel.
