Job Description

Department:

Position Purpose

Responsible for acquiring high-end Current and Savings Accounts (CASA) through open market channels and cross-selling other banking products.

Key Responsibilities

Acquire new high-end current accounts through open market lead generation and achieve monthly CASA targets, ensuring adherence to bank policies (KYC, AML, etc.).
Ensure smooth onboarding of customers and transition to the branch banking team.
Activate customers by ensuring account balances and transactions start within the first month/quarter. Targets include:

80% customers maintaining AQB
75% internet banking penetration
50% DSB penetration

Carry out activities for lead generation.
Drive cross-sell opportunities by generating leads, handling basic inquiries, and coordinating with the Branch Manager and product teams (RBL, Trade, FX, CMS, DSB) to offer suitable business solutions.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Qualification:
Graduate
Preferred Qualification:
MBA with IRDA certification
Experience:

310 years in new-to-bank current account acquisition, preferably in SME segment
Strong knowledge of commercial catchments and business segments
Proficiency in the local language

Competencies

Technical Skills

Good Excel skills
Basic knowledge of Business Banking and Trade/FX preferred

Behavioural Skills

Strong communication skills (written and spoken English)
Well-presented with high grooming standards
