Sales and Marketing Officer

Kerala - Kochi (Remotely)

Responsibilities:

Sales:

1. Identify and target boat builders,material suppliers,and wholesalers in Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh as potential customers for hydraulic steering systems.
2. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve set sales quotas.
3. Build strong relationships with clients and understand their needs to recommend suitable products.
4. Prepare quotations and negotiate pricing with clients.
5. Manage and follow up on leads,converting them into paying customers.
6. Contribute to the development and execution of regional sales plans.

Marketing:

1. Assist with developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote brand and products in marine sector in Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh.
2. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and distribute promotional materials.
3. Analyse marketing data and report on campaign performance.

Troubleshooting and Installation:

1. Provide on-site installation or troubleshooting if required of hydraulic steering system on boats.
2. Ensure proper assembly and functionality of the systems according to technical specifications.
3. Train boat builders and their teams on the operation and maintenance.
4. Provide excellent customer service and technical support to clients.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 4-8 years of experience in sales,marketing,or a related field within the marine industry.
2. Malyalam or any South indian language (Verbal) is mandatory.
3. Understanding of the boat building process and relevant technical knowledge.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
5. Engineering degree with MBA in marketing preferred.
6. Willingness to travel within Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh for client visits .
