Sales and Marketing Engineer

Role & responsibilities

ROLE

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

1. Achieve Order Intake as per MRP/Yearly Sales targets.

2. Market intelligence / information gathering / analysis of market environments:

3. Market segments, applications, key customers, competition, products/technologies and environmental factors. Collect relevant data, edit, analyse and make data available in an appropriate way Identify and develop potential customers for paint application systems in respective segments.

4. Prepare visit plan based on the iquiries received for the week with Sr. Sales Engineer and MD.He needs to be in the market minimum 12 days in a month.

5. Submit/email visit report same day to Sales team and MD.

6. Submit travel bill after the visit to HR by Monday.

7. Do follow up visit to close the discussion/Customer queries and try to get the order.

8. Audit current system and give recommendations to Customers on improving paint finish quality, Optomise paint Consumption and reduce impact on environment to go towards Green technology

9. Ensure collection of customer feedback on supplied product

10. Maintain a well defined quality system across the department.

11. Publication of relevant Sales information in the Digital Platforms

12. Developing product/service-innovation and –improvements in accordance with TEPL Marketing & Communications

13. Preparation and update of sales tools (brochures, presentations, sales documentation, factsheets, case studies, etc.) in collaboration with Graco Country Manager and his team

JOB AUTHORITY

Education/ Experience:

• Degree/Diploma in Paint Technology from reputed institute/Govt. Polytechnique
• At least 3 to 4 years’ experience in Sales in Industrial Equipment Market
• Knowledge of Surface Coating systems and/or related processes would be beneficial
• Post Graduate diploma in Sales and Marketing will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Language skills:

• Fluent in spoken & written local language and English is must
• Command over more than two regional languages will be an added advantage
