Sales Advisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and driving sales through effective communication and product knowledge. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance throughout their shopping experience.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to potential buyers.
• Maintain a well-organized sales floor through effective merchandising and stocking practices.
• Upsell additional products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
• Handle cash transactions responsibly while ensuring accurate cash handling procedures.
• Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
• Address customer inquiries with professionalism, utilizing strong phone etiquette when necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.

Skills

• Proven experience in retail sales with a strong understanding of grocery store operations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage customers effectively.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customer bases.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in inventory management and stock control.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Experience in merchandising techniques to create appealing product displays.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
