TARA STEELS PRIVATE LIMITED is a prominent mining & metals company based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. The company operates from PLOT NO. E, SARTHI INDUSTRIAL ESTATE, NR. BHAGWATI B/H GVMM, ODHAV. TARA STEELS is known for its focus on quality and safety, providing essential materials to industries. Our goal is to maintain high standards in mining and metal production while ensuring the safety and welfare of our workforce.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Jharkhand, India, for a Safety Supervisor. The Safety Supervisor will oversee daily safety operations, conduct safety training, perform safety engineering tasks, and manage occupational health metrics. Key responsibilities include investigating accidents, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations, and promoting a safe work environment.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Health & Safety management and Safety Training
Experience in Safety Engineering and Occupational Health practices
Ability to conduct thorough Accident Investigation
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently on-site
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Safety Engineering, or related field
Prior experience in the mining and metals industry is a plus
