Safety Supervisor

The Safety Supervisor will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and enforcing health, safety, and environment (HSE) practices at the construction site to ensure compliance with statutory norms and company safety policies.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and monitor site safety policies and procedures.

Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations (Factories Act, BOCW Act, local labor laws).

Conduct daily safety inspections of work areas, machinery, tools, and scaffolding.

Identify unsafe acts/conditions and take corrective and preventive actions.

Conduct toolbox talks, safety induction, and training for workers and staff.

Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at site.

Maintain safety records, permits, registers, and reports.

Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe incidents and prepare reports.

Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and subcontractors on safety compliance.

Ensure safety during high-risk activities.
