As a Quality Control Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all fabricated components meet the required quality standards, from material inspection to final product verification. Your background in mechanical engineering and experience in fabrication processes will be essential for this position. Your responsibilities will include understanding fabrication drawings and executing inspection checks at different stages, demonstrating a strong knowledge of light and medium fabrication, and ensuring adherence to quality processes and standards in fabrication. You will be responsible for conducting inward material inspections, in-house component inspections, and maintaining quality documents and records for various components. Additionally, you will be required to check and review fixtures to suit the assembly for fabrication. Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) is a necessary requirement for this role. You should hold a Diploma in Mechanical or Fabrication Engineering, with a preference for certification in QMS and NDT Level 2. Ideally, you will have 2-4 years of experience in a fabrication or manufacturing quality control role.
