Safety Supervisor

As a Safety Supervisor at EVEREST ENGINEERING EQUIPMENT PRIVATE LIMITED, located in Survey no 832, Vill. Kudali, Tal.Roha, Raigad, Maharashtra, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with safety regulations, implementing safety procedures, and fostering a strong safety culture within the facility. Your responsibilities will include: - Ensuring compliance with factory safety regulations, OSHA, and company policies. - Conducting regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments. - Identifying hazards and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). - Ensuring the safe handling, maintenance, and operation of mechanical equipment. - Conducting safety training programs for workers and supervisors. - Promoting awareness of personal protective equipment (PPE) and its correct usage. - Organizing toolbox talks, safety drills, and emergency response training. - Investigating workplace accidents, near misses, and safety violations. - Implementing factory safety procedures and SOPs. - Ensuring machine guarding, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and fire safety systems are in place. - Coordinating with the maintenance team for safe equipment operation and maintenance. - Liaising with regulatory bodies and auditors for inspections. - Keeping records of safety permits, licenses, and certifications. Qualifications required for this role include: - Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering - Experience: 5-7 years in an Engineering manufacturing/factory with mechanical exposure - Certifications: Diploma in fire and Safety, Industrial Safety Skills that will be beneficial for this position: - Strong knowledge of factory safety standards & risk assessments. - Experience in mechanical equipment safety, fire safety, and hazard control. - Ability to conduct training and enforce safety policies. - Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. The salary range for this position is 2,40,000-3,00,000 PA Plus, along with benefits such as Accommodation, Food, Insurance, Bonus, PF, and Gratuity.,
