Safety Supervisor for Transport Company

We are a transportation company having presence all over India, Currently we require a individual at our Mangaon location for the post of Safety Officer - Driver Training. Roles and responsibilities are as under:

1. Daily driver training - Regarding Driving Behavior, Traffic rules, Etc.

2. One on one safety training & group session to drivers.

2. Maintain safety standards on site as per the approved safety plan

3. Daily PPE Awareness sessions

4. Review Safety & Health performance and initiate actions for improvement.
5. Participate in Safety audits with the site supervisors.6. Taking an active part in the safety mass meetings & safety committee meetings.7. Help & guide team to prepare Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA).8. Administer appropriate safe work practices / procedures within the Project.9. Lead and assist in accident / incident investigations to ensure all accidents and incidents are properly investigated including near miss incidents, first aid cases, all reportable cases, property damage, etc.10. Monitor the behavior of the people and provide necessary training to change the attitude and behavior of the workers towards working safely.11. Establish, maintain, update site Emergency Response Team.

12. Inspections of tools, tackles, equipment etc. as per plan.
13. He will ensure reporting of all incidents and near miss and participate in incident investigation.14. Site safety supervisors will help in developing SOP for the job and carry out safety audits to check its compliance.15. Site safety supervisors will be deputed for all high risk jobs as per the demand of the contract owner.

16. Knowledge of 5S and other safety standards compulsory

17. Should be well versed with the CSM safety standard and must be able to face CSM audit independently.

Only candidates having Knowledge of transport safety and having valid certifications like NEBOSH, NISM, or any other safety certificate apply.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
