Safety Supervisor

Description

The Safety Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and promoting safety practices within the organization, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and creating a safe working environment for all employees.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Provide safety training and orientation for new employees and ongoing training for current employees.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and develop corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities.
• Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
• Stay updated on safety regulations and best practices in the industry.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in safety management or a related field.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in India.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certification in safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is preferred.
• Ability to conduct training sessions and workshops.
