Regulatory Compliance & DocumentationEnsure adherence to all applicable safety laws and standards.Maintain safety documentation (Fire NOC, audit reports, incident records, etc.).Coordinate with government bodies for inspections and certifications.
Risk Assessment & Hazard ManagementPerform regular risk assessments and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).Identify hazards and initiate corrective measures.Oversee safety measures for chemical, mechanical, and physical risks.
Training & AwarenessConduct safety inductions and periodic employee training.Organize toolbox talks and safety campaigns.Ensure display of safety signages and posters across the site.
Incident ManagementInvestigate all incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions.Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement CAPA.Monitor trends to prevent recurrence of incidents.
Emergency PreparednessLead fire drills, mock evacuations, and first-aid programs.Maintain emergency response plans and coordinate with external agencies.Ensure all firefighting equipment and PPE are in working condition.
Inspections & AuditsConduct periodic site inspections and internal audits.Ensure timely closure of observations and non-compliance.Enforce safety SOPs and permit-to-work systems.Required Skills:
Technical:Strong knowledge of Indian HSE laws and compliance norms.Expertise in RCA and incident investigation.Proficient in MS Office & safety management tools. Soft Skills:Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.Strong training and safety awareness capabilities.Attention to detail with a proactive mindset.
