We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Safety Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in implementing and maintaining safety standards for our building projects.

Job Description:

As a Safety Officer at RiseCo Infra, you will be responsible for overseeing and enforcing safety norms and regulations in all aspects of our building projects. Your primary objective will be to create a secure working environment and ensure that all safety standards are met and maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety Compliance: Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures in accordance with local and national safety regulations.
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits at construction sites to identify and rectify potential hazards.

Training and Education: Provide safety training and orientation for all project personnel, ensuring that they are well-informed about safety guidelines and best practices.
Stay updated on the latest safety regulations and standards and ensure their implementation.

Incident Management: Respond to and investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses. Ensure thorough documentation and reporting.
Develop and implement corrective actions to prevent future incidents.

Safety Equipment: Ensure the availability and proper use of safety equipment, such as personal protective gear, fire extinguishers, and first aid kits.
Maintain and inspect safety equipment regularly to ensure functionality.

Emergency Response: Develop and test emergency response plans for various scenarios, such as fire, natural disasters, or chemical spills.
Conduct drills and training exercises to prepare teams for emergencies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry.
• Deep knowledge of safety norms, regulations, and best practices for building projects.
• Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., OSHA certification).
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
