Safety Officer

As a Safety Officer, your role will involve ensuring compliance with all statutory safety regulations and company HSE policies. You will be responsible for conducting site safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification. Providing induction training and toolbox talks to workers, monitoring proper use of PPE, and enforcing safety practices will also be part of your key responsibilities. In addition, you will investigate incidents/accidents, prepare reports, and coordinate with site management to implement corrective and preventive measures. Maintaining safety documentation and records as per standards is crucial for this role. Qualifications Required: - B.Tech degree, preferably in Mechanical/Industrial Safety. - Minimum of 5-6 years of relevant site safety management experience in construction/industrial projects. In this role, it is essential to have a strong knowledge of occupational health & safety standards, the ability to train and guide workers on safe practices, good communication and reporting skills, as well as being proactive in identifying risks and suggesting solutions.
