Job Description

You will be a Safety Officer based in Gujrat, responsible for overseeing health & safety, occupational health, accident investigation, security, and safety training tasks related to MEP contracting and material trading activities. - Implement and enforce safety policies, procedures, and regulations. - Conduct regular safety inspections and audits. - Conduct daily tool box meetings. - Obtain necessary permits before work starts. - Check and tag all tools, tackles, and PPE as safe to use. - Integrate safety considerations into project planning. - Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and provide detailed reports. - Develop and deliver HSE training programs for construction site personnel. - Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental management, or related field. - Proven experience as an HSE officer in the construction industry, with specific experience in MEP projects. - Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is highly desirable. - Ability to conduct effective training sessions and communicate safety concepts. - Problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach to risk mitigation.,
