Safety Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations and ITC safety guidelines.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine causes and develop preventive measures.
• Provide safety training and education to employees at all levels.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement safety improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and central safety regulations as per the guidelines framed by the competent authority.
• Monitor and analyse safety performance metrics and report findings to management.
• Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a safety management role, in a manufacturing environment.
• Certification as Safety Officer as per Safety Officers rule by Factories dept, Govt. of Telangana will be preferred.
