Safety Executive

Job Summary:

To ensure a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety policies, conducting training, auditing safety practices, and ensuring compliance with statutory and industry-specific regulations, especially related to electrical and manufacturing hazards.

Toolbox Talks

statutory safety documentation and legal compliance

Certified in First Aid

Safety Committee Meetings

MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets), accident reports, and corrective actions

specialized training sessions

internal and external safety reports

statutory authorities and regulatory bodies

Identify and implement corrective actions

safety equipment and personal protective gear

inspections and maintenance checks

Emergency Response Preparedness

emergency response plans

emergency drills and training exercises

Documentation and Reporting

safety incidents, inspections, and follow-up actions

safety performance reports

Safety Communication

a. Serve as a point of contact for safety-related queries and concerns from employees and stakeholders.

b. Promote a proactive safety culture by encouraging the reporting of unsafe conditions or potential hazards.

Qualifications:

• Education:

  Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Safety (preferably with ADIS/PDIS from a recognized institute).

• Experience:

  25 years in a safety role within an electrical equipment manufacturing or industrial setup.

• Certifications:

  NEBOSH / IOSH (preferred).

• Knowledge:

  Electrical safety protocols, EHS regulations (Factory Act, BIS norms, IEC/IS standards), incident investigation techniques.

• Skills:

  Excellent observation, analytical, communication, and documentation skills. Proficient in MS Office and safety audit tools.

• Workplaces:

  Regularly field visits or vendor inspections be required.
