Responsibilities-:Adhering to the compliances of safety related statutory requirements in Premises. Formulating contractor safety management guidelines and a number of safety motivational / training programs for improving safety culture; working on HIRA/JSA & SOP review and updating. Working on the procurement of the entire safety related services and materials. Developing HSE management plans and supervising the implementation of the same as per the guidelines. Conducting safety inspections/audits for statuary compliance. Collaborate with management to develop an emergency action plan and serve as primary contact for workplace injury and incident investigation. Maintains the record of each incident. Maintains a written log of safety inspection activities, reports and correspondence. Ensuring the availability of First Aid medicines and checked timely for the expiry date. Ensuring the purchase of High-Quality PPE’s and maintaining the availability record. Implementing safety measures for minimizing occurrence of accidents & calamities; conducting investigations for determining the cause of accidents. Deputy Leader of SHE Pillar in TPM and Maintaining all Reports as per TPM requirement. Ensuring safety in critical activities including height work, confined space entry, isolation of equipment and systems, hot work, excavation work. Devising significant solutions, implementing health, safety & environment management systems for maintaining sound environmental and safety conditions in the processes. Monitoring & helping to develop HSE competence standards across the group of companies. Reviewing & analysing data from audits, accident investigations, near misses, concessions to identify adverse trends and implement preventive action. Coordinating with other departments to work on environment compliances, Aspect Impact Analysis, deviation analysis, root cause findings, and Cost Improvement Projects. Providing assistance in implementation of corporate safety initiatives and Providing Guidelines for celebrating National Safety Week. Developing emergency preparedness plan, planning and performing on-site and offsite emergency drills. Following-up and recommending CAPA and tracking them for compliance and Horizontal Deployment. Conducting reviews on Risk assessments, LOTO & Work Permit systems Planning and executing of various safety related activities e.g. National Safety Day, Fire Service Week, Tool Box Talk Meetings, Monthly training programs. Plan and Execute the Safety Committee meeting and prepare the MOM of meeting. Inspection of lifting tools and tackles (e.g. Forklift, Hand Pallet Trolley, Hoist, EOT etc.) and submit the finding to the management for corrective and preventive action.
