Safety Engineer

As a Safety Officer & Safety Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and hazard-free environment at various project locations across India. Your responsibilities will include: - Conducting regular reviews of operations and processes to identify potential hazards and risks, and implementing corrective measures to mitigate these risks effectively. - Investigating, preparing, submitting, and maintaining records of first aid cases, accident cases, near miss reports, incident reports, observation reports, site inspections, and health safety environment (HSE) reports. - Delivering training programs to educate the company's workforce, subcontractors, and visitors on emergency response procedures, environmental management, and compliance with company policies and standards. - Conducting Toolbox Talks, mock drills, and providing feedback on hazard findings to ensure a safe work environment. - Performing regular site visits and inspections to ensure safety compliance in various areas including crane safety, electrical safety, fire safety, machinery, and hazard identification. - Developing and implementing site-specific safety plans, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. - Leading incident investigations, analyzing root causes, and developing preventive measures to prevent recurrence. - Inspecting scaffolds and ensuring safety before commencing work, as well as ensuring preventive maintenance of all equipment. - Promoting safe practices at the site through dialogue, orientation programs, visual aids, and audit findings. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in engineering with 6 to 8 years of experience in the crane industry. - Specialization in Occupational Safety and Health. - Proven experience in a safety role within industries such as oil & gas, power plants, and refineries. - Strong understanding of heavy lifting operations, crane loading, assembly/disassembly work, and ESG Awareness/ISO Safety Standards. In addition to a competitive salary ranging from INR 50,000 to 80,000 CTC, you will also be entitled to benefits such as leave encashment, paid sick time, and Provident Fund.
