Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for the Rural Banking Head, located in Kolkata. The Rural Banking Head will oversee banking operations, develop strategies to increase customer engagement, manage rural branches, and coordinate with other departments to ensure the smooth execution of banking services. Duties will include monitoring financial performance, identifying opportunities for growth, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, the individual will be expected to lead and mentor team members to achieve organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in banking operations, financial performance monitoring, and customer engagement strategies
• Skills in team leadership, mentoring, and operational management
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work on-site in Kolkata
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred
• Previous experience in a similar role, particularly in rural banking, is a plus
