RO:RL - Area Operations Manager

We are looking for a skilled professional with 2 to 7 years of experience to fill the role of Area Operations Manager in Axis Bank Limited The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking products and services, as well as excellent communication skills

• Manage a team of Operations Managers and Customer Service Managers at respective Loan Centers
• Oversee disbursements of all products within the Loan Center
• Ensure satisfactory customer service delivery at Loan Centers
• Train the team to handle activities according to prevailing policies
• Monitor and track operations and customer service metrics
• Coordinate with Central Operations daily
• Collaborate with Credit & Sales stakeholders to ensure smooth operational flow
• Work towards reducing Concurrent Audit and Internal Audit observations
• Handle customer escalations and resolve complaints
• Organize comprehensive induction training and support new joiners until they settle in
• Ensure achievement of Cross Sell targets for the Loan Center
• Manage office administration and lobby management
• Monitor vendor relationships and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and bank policies

• Post-graduation or graduation from a recognized institute
• Knowledge of banking products and services
• Understanding of regulatory guidelines and norms
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the local language
• Ability to manage complex client situations
• Capability to manage risk and uncertainty for self and team in a dynamic priority-setting environment
• Strong ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
