ROR Developer

You should have experience in developing customer-facing applications on the Ruby on Rails platform. A good understanding of product and design, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment, is crucial for this role. As a potential candidate, you will be based in Navi Mumbai, India, on a full-time basis. Key requirements for this position include real-world experience in building consumer-facing applications using Ruby on Rails, familiarity with Rails 3.X and above, and proficiency in Rspec/Cucumber. Additionally, you should have at least 2 years of relevant experience, a solid grasp of MySQL and relational database design, and knowledge of front-end web technologies such as XHTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, and JSON. It is essential that you are well-versed in Javascript frameworks, especially Prototype, and either have experience with Python or a strong willingness to learn it. Proficiency in Git, comfort in a Linux environment, and excellent communication and documentation skills are also expected. Desired skills and experience include the ability to collaborate effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment, a degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience, an understanding of scalability, systems engineering, and algorithms, and a keen product and design sense. Hands-on experience with application frameworks like Node, Backbone, Angular, etc., will be considered advantageous.
