Job Description

The Risk Analyst in the Technology Regulatory Relations and Market Compliance (RRMC) organization plays a crucial role in managing technology and security risks effectively. As part of a team of skilled professionals, your mission will be to ensure compliance with security and technology promises, commitments, and obligations to meet stakeholder expectations. With the Asia Pacific region facing increased regulatory scrutiny, your expertise in risk management will be essential in upholding security processes, controls, tokenization practices, and data localization compliance. Your responsibilities will include contributing to the preparation and maintenance of a consolidated control framework, establishing a centralized inventory of security and technology risk management requirements, and providing guidance on identifying technology and security risk controls aligned with business and regulatory requirements. You will support customer and regulatory examinations by furnishing accurate information, documentation, and evidence, ensuring compliance with obligations and commitments. Additionally, you will assist in customer and regulator meetings, compliance monitoring, and pre-audit readiness reviews to uphold a robust risk management program. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of technology and cybersecurity risk management practices, experience in regulatory and customer audits, and a solid grasp of governance, risk, and compliance practices. You will be recognized as a trusted advisor capable of offering security consultation and advisory services, with excellent communication, people management, and stakeholder management skills. Your ability to navigate ambiguity, collaborate with cross-regional teams, and maintain a focus on business operations will be paramount in this role. Knowledge of Risk and Control Framework standards such as NIST, ISO, PCI-DDS, SOC, as well as familiarity with cybersecurity laws, regulations, and ethical considerations (e.g., GDPR, FBA, CBA, PFMI) will be advantageous. While prior knowledge of Mastercard products, technology, security, and risk management programs is desirable, it is not a mandatory requirement. As a Risk Analyst in the RRMC organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring Mastercard's compliance with security and technology standards, thereby contributing to the organization's overall success and reputation.,
