Experience: 4-5 years of professional experience, with 1-2 years in lending companies mandatory.

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Risk Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lending risk analysis, with proficiency in SQL and Excel, and a solid understanding of lending metrics. This role requires the ability to connect risks across the entire lending lifecyclefrom sourcing and credit assessment to operations and collections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze lending risk data using SQL and Excel to generate insights and support risk mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and report on key lending risk metrics such as vintage curve, rollforward, STAB, bounces, and AUM-level delinquency (knowledge of these is a plus).
• Identify patterns and trends across multiple risk areas including sourcing, credit evaluation, operations, and collections.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop risk frameworks and controls.
• Prepare risk reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Support risk assessment and policy formulation to optimize portfolio performance and minimize losses.

Candidate Profile:

• 4-5 years of relevant experience with at least 1-2 years in lending or fintech companies.
• Strong command of SQL, Excel, and data analysis techniques.
• Good understanding of lending risk metrics (vintage curve, rollforward, STAB, bounces, delinquency) is desirable but not mandatory.
• Ability to analyze and connect risks across sourcing, credit, operations, and collections functions.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and deliver actionable insights.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from a top engineering institute (IIT / NIT) is mandatory.
• MBA or equivalent is preferred.

• Familiarity with lending risk metrics and portfolio performance indicators
• Strong analytical and problem-structuring abilities
