Rigging Supervisor

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead, guide, and supervise all

  lifting and rigging operations

  using

  cranes, Farana, forklifts, and other lifting equipment

  to ensure safe and efficient execution.
• Work in

  8-hour or 12-hour shifts

  as per project and operational requirements.
• Assist in the

  preparation, review, and approval of lifting plans

  , including critical and heavy lifts.
• Review, verify, and approve

  Risk Assessments (RA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Method Statements (MS)

  submitted by contractors prior to execution.
• Inspect and verify the condition, certification, and suitability of

  cranes, Farana, lifting tools, tackles, slings, shackles, and spreader beams

  .
• Assess

  soil and ground bearing capacity

  , crane positioning, and outrigger arrangements to ensure safe lifting operations.
• Provide

  final clearance and authorization

  before commencement of any lifting or rigging activity.
• Ensure compliance with

  project EHS requirements, statutory regulations, OEM guidelines, and approved lifting procedures

  .
• Conduct

  toolbox talks, safety briefings, and specialized training

  for lifting crews, riggers, crane operators, and relevant personnel.
• Monitor lifting activities on-site to ensure adherence to approved lift plans and safe work practices.
• Coordinate with

  project, construction, EHS, and contractor teams

  for safe planning and execution of lifting activities.
• Identify lifting-related hazards and implement

  preventive and corrective control measures

  .
• Stop unsafe lifting operations and recommend corrective actions where deviations are observed.
• Maintain proper

  documentation and records

  related to lifting plans, inspections, approvals, and training activities.
