RF/Wi-Fi HW Engineer

Fixed Networks (FN) business group provides an array of gigabit to the home solutions to deliver data access to our communication service provider (CSP) customers. This includes Fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) as well as 5G fixed wireless access (FWA), xDSL and cable upgrades. We build solutions that dont stop at the home but also bring that gigabit experience into the home using our meshed Wi-Fi solution.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

• Design, test and troubleshoot RF circuits such as Wifi Radios for various electrical equipment
• Select and assess suitability and reliability of electronic components
• Maintain product documentation
• Interact with Application, Software, and other Electronic Engineers to meet customer/system requirements of hardware designs
• Prototype electronic circuits and document measurements and results
• Review and approve electrical documentation (schematics, assembly drawings, BOM, PCB layouts, etc.)
• Perform failure analysis of electronic circuits. Issue report on findings as well as recommendations on opportunities for continuous improvement
• Assist other members of the hardware group and/or project teams

Qualifications

You have:

• The candidate must be bachelors degree with more than 9+ years of working experiences in Electrical Engineering or equivalent in the industry or similar domain.
• Successful hardware design experience and solid understanding of the hardware product design lifecycle process.
• Experience with RF, Wireless or digital communication circuits a plus.
• Experience with transmitters and/or Receivers and general RF concepts. Experience with Antennas a plus.
• Experience with compliance and regulations like CE, ETSI, ANSI, FCC, ANATEL, NORM over the global. Has the ability to debug the hardware design during certification test.
• Experience with circuit schematic capture and layout and simulation software

It would be nice if you also had:

• Experience in using test equipment such as Digital Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, DC Power supplies, Network Analyzer, Signal Analyzers etc.
• Skilled in organizing, prioritizing and coordinating working relationships with all levels of personnel within and outside of the organization.
