Job Description

As a Revenue Accountant at Addepar, you will be responsible for handling US GAAP revenue accounting & ARR reporting. Your key responsibilities will include: - Documentation of ASC 606 deal review checklists - Processing new Sales Orders - Servicing monthly revenue recognition - Performing reconciliations for ARR - Conducting deferred and unbilled revenue analysis - Preparing revenue variance analysis for review by Sr. Manager & Senior Director - Ensuring accurate and timely transaction processing, accounting & reporting in accordance with policies and US GAAP - Continually identifying and implementing efficient procedures and processes - Handling new projects to support automation/continuous improvements To qualify for this role, you should have: - A BA/BS in Business or Accounting - Chartered Accountant and public accounting experience of at least 3 years (Deloitte, KPMG, EY, PWC or similar companies) is strongly preferred - Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in revenue recognition; experience supporting the US Revenue team is highly desired - Experience with NetSuite ARM module or a similar system (Rev Pro). Salesforce experience would be a plus - Proven continuous improvements of the business processes - High attention to detail and accuracy - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting - Flexibility with working hours Addepar values individuals who: - Act Like an Owner - Think and operate with intention, purpose and care.
