Retail Sales Officer

As a Retail Sales Officer, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and market development in the coatings, paints, automotive refinishing, wood finishes, or plumbing/construction chemicals industries. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and maintaining strong relationships with retailers, dealers, and channel partners. - Ensuring availability and visibility of products at key counters. - Achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs. - Identifying and onboarding new dealers/applicators in the assigned geography. - Conducting product training, demos, and application trials. - Executing in-store branding, POP installation, and promotional campaigns. - Supporting ATL/BTL marketing activities in the retail segment. - Maintaining daily sales reports, beat plans, and competitor tracking. - Coordinating with distributors for order flow, stock updates, and collection. - Addressing product-related queries from end users and retailers. - Acting as a liaison between the company and the market for feedback and improvements. You should possess skills in sales, negotiation, territory mapping, dealer management, excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and product knowledge in coatings, chemicals, or paints. Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting tools, and CRM would be advantageous. A two-wheeler with a valid driving license is preferred. In terms of educational qualifications, a minimum of a graduate degree in any stream is required, while a BBA/MBA in Marketing or Sales or a Diploma in Paints/Chemicals/Coatings is preferred.
