Retail Sales Officer

As a Retail Sales Officer, your role involves greeting consumers at the counter, listening to their preferences, and providing detailed information to meet their needs. You will be responsible for displaying and promoting jewelries and other available products to entice customers to make purchases. Additionally, you will educate customers on the wide variety of products and services offered by the store. Key Responsibilities: - Greet consumers and offer support - Listen to customer preferences and provide detailed explanations - Display and promote jewelries and other products - Educate customers on product variety and services - Provide pricing details and product information - Demonstrate product use and operation - Advise customers on suitable jewelry within budget - Assist with wrapping and bagging purchased items - Acquire customer details and create customer code - Provide pricing and product weight to the cashier - Update sales records in the software system - Maintain control of assigned counter - Report to Store Manager for daily activities Qualifications Required: - Degree/Diploma or equivalent in any stream - Knowledge of customer service and sales principles - Relevant product knowledge - Experience in retail, customer service, or sales environment Key Skills and Competencies: - Good communication skills in Hindi, Odia, and English - Customer service orientation - Patience and adaptability - Stress tolerance and high energy level - Integrity Please note that the duties of this designation are not limited to the tasks mentioned above.
