Department: Retail Operations Grade: Customer Excellence Executive Organogram: Area Sales Manager Customer Excellence Executive Purpose of the job: The customer excellence executive is responsible for driving sales and achieving revenue targets within a designated retail environment, typically mobile phone stores or chains. Their primary role involves engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and promoting the sale of mobile devices, accessories, and associated services. Key Responsibilities: * Customer Engagement: Actively engaging with customers, building rapport, and understanding their specific requirements for mobile devices and services. * Product Knowledge: Possessing a deep understanding of the latest mobile devices, features, and technologies to effectively communicate product benefits to customers. * Sales Targets: Achieving and exceeding sales targets, both individually and as part of a team. * Merchandising: Ensuring that the retail space is well-organized, products are displayed effectively, and promotional materials are prominently placed. * Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries, and resolving issues promptly. * Upselling and Cross-Selling: Identifying opportunities to upsell additional products or services, such as accessories, insurance plans, or data packages. * Teamwork: Collaborating with other team members and store management to achieve shared goals. Person Profile: Desired Qualification: • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A minimum educational requirement. Desired Experience Profile: • Fresher or Minimum 1 year of experience in retail sales. Competency Required: Strong sales skills, including the ability to build rapport, understand customer needs, and close deals Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues. The ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer preferences.
