Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Retail Sales Assistant to join our team at Fashion World , a prominent manufacturer of high-quality Indian wear. As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service, promoting our products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will work in a vibrant retail environment and be responsible for maintaining store operations, driving sales, and supporting the overall success of our brand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service Excellence:
• Greet and assist customers as they enter the store, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
• Understand customer needs and preferences to provide personalized recommendations based on our range of Indian wear.
• Assist customers in selecting the right products, offering styling tips and product information.
• Handle customer queries and concerns in a polite and professional manner, ensuring a positive resolution.
• Sales and Product Promotion:
• Actively engage customers to drive sales.
• Stay updated on product knowledge, including fabric types, designs, and manufacturing processes, to effectively inform and educate customers.
• Store Operations:
• Maintain a neat, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
• Monitor inventory levels and inform the store manager about low stock or products that need reordering.
• Process transactions accurately at the point of sale and handle cash or card payments
• Customer Relationship Management:
• Build rapport with customers and encourage repeat visits through outstanding service and follow-up.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with other team members and the store manager to achieve sales goals and store objectives.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail or customer service, preferably in the fashion or apparel industry.
• A passion for Indian wear, textiles, and fashion trends.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• A positive, energetic, and approachable attitude.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Indian wear fashion, including traditional and contemporary designs.
• Basic knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Experience in visual merchandising or store display.
