Retail Sales Assistant

You are an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Staff member being sought by CEE GEE ENTERPRISES to join the Berger Paints Experience Store in Coonoor. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting customers in selecting the right paint products, explaining product features and finishes, and ensuring a seamless in-store experience. This role offers you the chance to collaborate with a leading brand in a professional retail setting. Your key responsibilities will involve greeting and assisting customers with product inquiries and purchases, understanding and explaining the features and benefits of Berger Paints products, recommending suitable paint solutions based on customer needs, maintaining in-store displays and ensuring well-stocked product shelves, generating and following up on leads from contractors, painters, and walk-in clients, processing sales invoices and handling basic billing using the POS system, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the sales area, and collaborating with the store manager to achieve monthly sales targets. The ideal candidate for this position should have a minimum qualification of 10th/12th pass (Graduates preferred), possess prior retail or paint sales experience (Freshers may also apply), exhibit good communication skills in Tamil (Basic English is a plus), have a customer-friendly attitude and a willingness to learn, and preferably have basic knowledge of color combinations and paint types.
