Retail, POS & Payments Expert

Key Responsibilities

• Define and analyze end-to-end retail processes: sales, returns, exchanges, promotions, loyalty programs, gift cards, and vouchers
• Lead the functional specification and implementation of POS systems for single stores and retail chains
• Oversee payment and clearing processes, including:
• Credit card transactions, EMV, and contactless payments
• Digital wallets and alternative payment methods
• Integration with payment processors, acquirers, and banks
• Define and manage integrations between POS systems and core platforms:
• ERP systems
• Inventory and logistics systems
• CRM and loyalty platforms
• BI and reporting tools
• Support projects from initial concept through Go-Live and post-deployment stabilization
• Act as a professional escalation point for development, QA, and support teams
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to operational efficiency, customer experience, and regulatory compliance
• Work closely with business stakeholders and customers to gather requirements and present tailored solutions

Professional Requirements

• Proven experience with retail systems and POS platforms (mandatory)
• Hands-on knowledge of payment processing and settlement workflows (mandatory)
• Strong understanding of retail operations in physical, online, or omnichannel environments
• Experience writing functional and business requirement documents
• Solid technical orientation and the ability to work effectively with development teams
• Experience working with payment service providers and external vendors strong advantage
