Job Description

1. Store Operations ManagementOversee daily functioning of the medical shop. Ensure timely opening and closing of the store. Maintain cleanliness and proper product display. 💊 2. Inventory & Stock ControlMonitor medicine stock levels and expiry dates. Place orders with suppliers to maintain adequate inventory. Ensure proper storage of temperature-sensitive drugs. 📜 3. Regulatory ComplianceEnsure the shop complies with Drug and Cosmetics Act and local health regulations. Maintain all required licenses (Drug License, GST, etc.). Keep records of Schedule H/H1/Narcotic drugs as per norms. 👨‍⚕️ 4. Prescription & DispensingEnsure medicines are sold only against valid prescriptions. Verify prescriptions and dispense correct dosage/brand. Educate customers on usage, side effects, and storage if required. 👥 5. Staff SupervisionRecruit, train, and manage pharmacists and helpers. Create work schedules and monitor staff attendance and performance. Ensure customer service standards are maintained. 💰 6. Sales & BillingManage billing through POS/software. Monitor daily sales and cash handling. Encourage upselling of OTC products and wellness items. 💬 7. Customer ServiceAttend to customer queries politely and professionally. Handle customer complaints and ensure satisfaction. 📈 8. Reporting & AnalysisMaintain records of sales, purchases, and stock audits. Submit sales reports and suggest ways to increase profitability.
