Retail Designer

Department

The candidate will be part of Design Development team and would assist the department on various projects that are retail centric. The exposure on job will be tackling with muti disciplinary usages, with focus on retail.

The design development team looks at a retail centric project holistically from customer experience, innovations, turnover point of view. Though the team gets involved in making conceptual sketches, basic layouts, stacking diagrams, reviews of drawings prepared by architects, one is not expected to necessarily make working drawings, detailing etc.

Responsibility

1. The candidate needs to understand building bylaws, its impact on layout and built-up areas

2. Must be proficient in area calculations

3. Should be able to make impactful presentations on power points on being given directions by the team lead independently.

4. Should be flexible to accommodate all kinds of jobs that come with the profile- presentations, planning, supporting the team in reviewing designs, making artworks on photoshop etc.

5. Should be able to take lead of a project independently- to be able to meet with clients independently, do follow-ups etc.

6. Should have good command over English- both spoken as well as written.

7. Is part of a diverse team with which deals with multiple jobs and should pitch in wherever required as per need of the team.

8. Should adhere to project timelines strictly.

9. Knowledge about materials, MEP would be a requirement.

1. Must have the attitude to work on iterations in projects which is a given in this job.

2. Predominantly needs to be a team player

Experience

At least 5 yrs of experience . Candidates who have worked on retail projects would be preferred.
