Retail Buyer

Role Overview: You are being hired as a Retail Buyer (Buying & Merchandising) specializing in Ethnic wear for a well-known Retail brand located in Gurgaon. Your main responsibility will be to handle the categories of Ethnic, Fusion & Indo-western wear. It is essential to have 5 to 10 years of experience in Product Selection & Product Development to excel in this role. The salary offered for this position is in the range of 14.00 to 15.00 Lacs PA Max, and you will be working 5 days a week. Candidates from Retail brands background are preferred for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for executing all orders placed and ensuring timely and complete deliveries (OTIF). - Monitor, study, analyze, and comprehend market trends for various garment categories. Utilize research data to predict future trends. - Ensure that customer expectations are fulfilled in terms of fashion, variety, quality, and pricing. - Translate trends into saleable options and achieve target sales & margins. - Place purchase orders with approved suppliers as per agreements. - Negotiate purchase value and terms with suppliers for spot buys and unique site suppliers. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. - 5-10 years of experience in Product Selection & Product Development within the retail industry.
