Job Description: Waiter, Waitress and Housekeeping Staff

Position: Waitress

Location: The Morni Resort and The Morni Farm Stay

Reports to: General Manager

Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and professional Waitress to join our team at The Morni Resort and The Morni Farm Stay. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, anticipate guest needs, and ensure a positive dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and handling guest inquiries and requests in a prompt and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

* Guest Service: Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly. Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations when appropriate.

* Order Management: Take accurate food and drink orders using our point-of-sale (POS) system. Communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen staff clearly.

* Food and Beverage Service: Deliver orders from the kitchen and bar to the guests' tables accurately and efficiently. Ensure all food is presented correctly and a high standard of service is maintained.

* Table Maintenance: Check on guests regularly to ensure their needs are met. Clear tables of used dishes and glassware, and prepare the table for the next guests.

* Payment Processing: Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment.

* Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Adhere to all health and safety regulations.

* Team Collaboration: Work effectively with kitchen staff, hosts, and other team members to ensure smooth service and a great dining experience for all guests.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience as a waitress or in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or fine dining environment.

* Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

* Strong knowledge of food and beverage menu items.

* Familiarity with POS systems.

* A professional and polished appearance.

* Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

* Ability to lift and carry trays of food and beverages.
