Resource Teacher

Organization: Saksham Resource Centre, Noida

Saksham has been dedicated to the training and rehabilitation of visually impaired children and children with visual impairment along with additional disabilities since 2003.

Position: Resource TeacherRoles and Responsibilities:

· Provide instruction in various subjects such as reading, writing, mathematics, and social skills.

· Conduct assessments to identify each student’s strengths and areas of need.

· Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to specific student requirements.

· Monitor student progress and modify IEP goals and objectives as necessary.

· Collaborate with other therapists and staff to foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment.

· Maintain detailed session notes, attendance records, and all required documentation.

· Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to share updates on student growth and development.

· Build and sustain effective working relationships with the Centre Head, colleagues, and reporting managers.

· Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to collaborative planning.

· Need based student home visits

· Should be willing to take on additional responsibilities

Qualifications & Skills:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.

· 2–3 years of experience preferred; however, committed freshers with strong exposure are also encouraged to apply.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

· A child-centric, empathetic, and team-oriented approach to teaching.

· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to design and implement effective educational plans.

· RCI certification or equivalent state-recognized certification.

Remuneration: ₹25,000 per month (negotiable for a deserving candidate)
