Residential Design Architect

Role Overview: You will be joining a dynamic team at RECON as a Residential Design Architect based in Gurugram. Your primary focus will be on residential building design, specifications, and project management support for plot owners. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in evaluating the right construction partners such as Architectural Firms, Builders, Collaborators, Contractors, Material Suppliers, etc., according to the established processes. - Review and guide construction partners on sustainable design by thoroughly studying and analyzing floor plans and technical drawings to add value based on your knowledge and experience. - Collaborate with clients and construction agencies to finalize project requirements and specifications. - Offer expert guidance on material choices, finishes, and construction methods. - Draft detailed scope of work documents and ensure design compliance with local regulations. - Monitor project progress through on-site visits and virtual tools to ensure design quality and timely delivery. - Lead the design and development of residential layouts, elevations, and faade concepts. - Provide end-to-end project management for assigned clients. - Build and update the knowledge repository with the latest developments in design and construction. Required Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Architecture from a top pedigree institution is mandatory. - Attention to detail and a strong interest in residential architecture. - Proficiency in BIM, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and other architectural design tools. - Deep understanding of building codes, bye-laws, standards, and residential construction best practices. - Confidence in interacting with leading Architectural firms, senior Architects, or senior leadership of reputed builders. - Minimum 4 years of demonstrated experience in residential design and construction. - Strong communication and project coordination skills. - Client-focused with a problem-solving mindset. Preferred Qualifications: - Previous exposure to plotted home construction or custom builds. - Familiarity with digital project management platforms. - Knowledge in Green Building Design. - Master's degree in Architecture. - Registered with Council of Architecture (CoA).
