Resident Medical Officer

Key Responsibilities: Monitor and manage inpatients in the gynecology and obstetrics wards and labor rooms. Conduct initial assessments and ongoing monitoring of patients. Assist consultants during deliveries (normal and cesarean), surgeries, and other gynecological procedures. Manage obstetric and gynecological emergencies in coordination with the consultant on call. Maintain accurate medical records, progress notes, and treatment plans. Supervise nursing staff to ensure timely medication, vitals monitoring, and patient care. Ensure consent forms are duly signed and all preoperative protocols are followed. Communicate with patient attendants regarding patient condition and progress as needed. Participate in clinical audits, case discussions, and departmental meetings. Comply with hospital protocols, infection control practices, and safety guidelines.
