About Company:

Position: Resident Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Key Responsibilities:

• On-site Presence & Availability

• Work from client location in Bangalore
• Be available beyond office hours, on weekends, and during holidays when required at no extra cost.
• Be present during month/quarter/year-end activities or unforeseen events requiring 24/7 support.
• Provide standby availability during emergencies.

• Video Conferencing (VC) Operations

• Manage, operate, and troubleshoot VC systems (Poly, Cisco Webex, MS Teams, Zoom, etc.).
• Maintain readiness of rooms for VC sessions at all times.
• Conduct system health checks and automate monitoring to improve uptime.
• Configure and optimize VC endpoints, codecs, and infrastructure for performance and reliability.

• Technical Support

• Troubleshoot and resolve AV/VC equipment issues (including webcams, mics, speakers, and network-related components).
• Coordinate with infra teams (Network, Active Directory, Firewall, Proxy) for maintenance.
• Escalate issues to backend/OEM support as per SLA.
• Provide IT support for CMD and directors during downtime in VC activity.

• Event & Meeting Management

• Arrange/schedule VC meetings in Poly, Cisco Webex, MS Teams, and other VC platforms for Board Room, CMD Chamber, and Conference Rooms.
• Ensure presence during all critical VC meetings and remain until their conclusion, powering down all AV systems afterward.

• Maintenance & Reporting

• Maintain confidentiality of client IT infrastructure and data.
• Keep records of daily activities and share monthly/quarterly statistics with the client.
• Ensure availability of necessary toolkits/test equipment for maintenance.
• Provide standby RE coverage in case of planned/unplanned absence.
  

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum

  3 years' experience

  in Audio/Video conferencing setup, support, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco On-Premises, Cisco Webex, Microsoft Teams, Zoom Meetings.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
• Willingness to work on holidays and in 24/7 shifts if needed.
• Team player, detail-oriented, and responsible.
