Resident Engineer

As a Quality Resident Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of automotive electronics manufacturing processes. Your role will involve attending to line issues promptly, participating in warranty meetings, maintaining reports, monitoring vehicle production, and supporting service and R&D activities. Key Responsibilities: - Attend to and resolve line issues in a timely manner and report to the factory. - Participate in warranty meetings and verify parts for defects. - Maintain daily activity reports, line issue & warranty complaint register, and communicate with the factory. - Monitor daily vehicle production at TML and provide monthly data to the Sales Team. - Send rejected parts to the plant for analysis. - Support the service team with outstation activities and dealer visits. - Assist in new product trials at TML plant and support AEPL R&D in ERC Software development trials. - Be ready to relocate and travel as required, preferably living near the TML Pantnagar plant. - Be available at the plant when needed for any concerns. Qualifications Required: - B.E./ B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Electronics/ Electrical / EnTC or background in electronics manufacturing. - 3 to 4 years of experience in an automotive electronics manufacturing company, preferably as a QRE. - Experience in handling and dealing with customers, specifically OEMs. - Excellent communication skills in the local language and average proficiency in English (speaking, writing, and reading). - Proficiency in tools like Excel, PowerPoint for report preparation. - Basic electrical and electronics knowledge, with an advantage if you have telematics-related product awareness.
