Research Data Scientist

As a valued member of the Deciphex team, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into valuable insights, managing data collection across Clinical and PreClinical Research Teams. In a fast-paced environment, you will collaborate with a team to leverage your data management and analytics skills to advance AI and digital pathology solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collect, standardize, and curate data across Clinical and PreClinical Research Teams - Monitor, maintain, manage, annotate, and analyze large datasets, including image data - Transfer datasets between different sites - Solve workflow-related problems using data-driven techniques - Conduct advanced data collection and statistical analysis with machine learning techniques - Standardize data profiles and create validation sets from large image and data sets - Collaborate with AI engineers to optimize model architectures and workflows - Design data modeling processes, algorithms, and predictive models - Develop and optimize validation routines and data processing pipeline elements - Report, document procedures, write SOPs, and assist in policy development - Plan data usage according to regulatory requirements - Review current literature, competitor analyses, and present findings - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals **Qualification Required:** - Bachelor's Degree in a life-sciences or analytical field - Understanding of pathology and digital pathology principles - Knowledge of biological processes/immunology - Experience with data visualization software - Proficient in descriptive and inferential statistics, regression analyses - Ability to clean large data files, import/export data, and use statistical software - Proficiency in computer programming and statistical languages - Strong scientific literacy, technical writing, and communication skills - Ability to present scientific data and work independently or in a team - Strong time management, organizational, self-motivation, and learning skills - Desire for research, delivering results, and addressing issues effectively - Comfort with reading scientific publications,
