Research Associate

Roles and Responsibilities

• System Installation & Reporting

  : Install small mechanical or electrical systems and equipment in laboratory or residential settings. Prepare

  detailed reports on system performance

  and document any issues encountered during operation.

• Collaboration & Communication

  : Collaborate effectively with technicians to ensure successful project completion. Maintain clear communication on project status, challenges, and progress with team members and supervisors.

• Maintenance & Troubleshooting

  : Supervise routine maintenance of electrical wiring and systems, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety standards. Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques.

• Testing & Design Assistance

  : Conduct comprehensive

  performance and safety tests for mechanical systems and room air-conditioning units

  . Assist in the design of mechanical systems as required.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in

  computer applications

  is desirable.
• Expertise in

  refrigeration systems or Building Management Systems (BMS)

  will be considered an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Candidates must hold a

  bachelor's or master's degree in electrical, thermal, or mechanical engineering

  or a closely related field.
