This role offers a unique opportunity for young professionals to engage in impactful research focused on energy-efficient cooling solutions for modern buildings, leveraging state-of-the-art testing facilities for practical insights and advancements. Roles and Responsibilities System Installation & Reporting : Install small mechanical or electrical systems and equipment in laboratory or residential settings. Prepare detailed reports on system performance and document any issues encountered during operation. Collaboration & Communication : Collaborate effectively with technicians to ensure successful project completion. Maintain clear communication on project status, challenges, and progress with team members and supervisors. Maintenance & Troubleshooting : Supervise routine maintenance of electrical wiring and systems, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety standards. Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques. Testing & Design Assistance : Conduct comprehensive performance and safety tests for mechanical systems and room air-conditioning units . Assist in the design of mechanical systems as required. Preferred Skills Proficiency in computer applications is desirable. Expertise in refrigeration systems or Building Management Systems (BMS) will be considered an added advantage. Qualifications Candidates must hold a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical, thermal, or mechanical engineering or a closely related field.
