Research And Development Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• parametric 3D modelling of components and assemblies
• Elaboration and detailing of designs of assemblies and machines
• Pre-dimensioning in relation to given loads
• Elaboration of welding assemblies
• Creative new development: creating drafts, working on new solutions, developing concepts
• Create variant designs based on existing templates
• Elaboration of design tasks according to a task description, in compliance with legal regulations, valid standards and further regulations if applicable
• Preparation of 2D assembly and detail drawings as well as material lists (creating manufacturing part lists in SAP-system)

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor or Master/diploma in Mechanical Engineering or comparable degree
• Min. 3 years work experience in similar position
• Preferably experience in heavy industry
• Experience in working with a 3D modelling software like Autodesk Inventor
• Experience in the preparation of manufacturing documents
• Ability to analytical and creative thinking
• Good comprehension
• Good communication skills, good English (spoken and written)
• Team spirit
