Research Analyst

The ideal candidate will be responsible for turning data into actionable insights by recognizing trends and anomalies in multivariate datasets. In order to use these insights for business improvement, this candidate should feel comfortable using their analysis to tell a story.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth

  market research and data analysis

  on global and regional oil & gas markets (crude oil, natural gas, LNG, refining, petrochemicals, etc.).
• Track and analyze

  industry trends

  , pricing, supply-demand dynamics, production forecasts, and geopolitical influences.
• Prepare

  reports, presentations, and data models.

  Assist with publication of research commentaries and papers
• Market assessment and opportunity identification

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in

  Economics, Energy Studies, Petroleum Engineering, Finance, or related field

• Master's degree or certification in Energy Economics, Data Analytics, or related field is a plus.
